Courses

The courses we organise are based on our teaching background and experience as students. Our focus in on offering the best techniques to the patient and not just on the professional who study with us. Hence, we demand the maximum from the students, and from ourselves as well. The feedback from the participants every year, helps us analyse the course and make constant improvements. Without pretending to be perfect, we want to provide the highest possible quality, to be up-to-date in teaching methods (pedagogy), in new technologies applied to teaching and in the subjects we teach.
The character of the courses.

Tung’s Acupuncture

Tung’s Acupuncture is an ancient style of taoist acupuncture. Practiced among renamed professionals in the world, because it uses few needles, few sessions, instant results. It can be applied in all kind of pathologies and not only in the treatment of pain syndromes. “When you practice Tung’s acupuncture, you don’t need chinese herbs as you have the same result with just two or three needles”.Easy to learn and get results without being much experienced.

Zone Acupuncture

Wrist and Ankle Acupuncture is a quick and painless form of acupuncture.Surprising results are seen from the very beginning. It takes less than five seconds to check the effectiveness. Just 12 points for treating the whole body. Subcutaneous needling. Who can benefit from this training?Therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, masseurs and many other health practitioners.

Auriculotherapy

Many auriculotherapy techniques, but we focus our training in results. From chinese auriculotherapy to Tung’s points.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of medicine, in which special cups (glass, bamboo, plastic…) are putted on the skin to create a suction. This is used for many complaints, and nowadays very popular in sport medicine.

Abdominal Diagnosis:

The abdomen has been used as a diagnostic approach since ancient times. The technique is introduced in the Nan Jing book and improved in japanese styles of acupuncture.

The Flow of the 5 Elements

Knowing the taoist 5 elements theory is useful for working in the clinical practice with any kind of person and disease: physical, emotional and mental/espiritual can be adressed. At least the therapist and the client gain conscience in order to unblock the energy and recover the vital qi.

Tools for therapists 1,2,3:

If you are interested on this course, we are preparing a complete brochure and demos for you. It is the best course for those who want to help others, and also for any person interested in the field of natural ways of holistic recovering.

We believe in the scientific basis of medicine (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicina_basada_en_hechos), and in the healing nature of the Human Being as a holistic whole (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Holism). Both views are not mutually exclusive, nor do we believe that they are always complementary or synergistic. They are points of view and ways of working to be considered and chosen by the therapist and / or the patient. They are even ways of wanting to see life and act accordingly. The scientific basis has its place, and it helps us to stay grounded and not invent treatments or vary the techniques because of individual or temporary intuitions. The empirical knowledge (link to wikipedia) helps us to value and love the patient, see them as physical-emotional / mental and spiritual (the meaning that life has for him), family, social and environmental. During the courses our teachers do not invent new techniques, and if they bring variations through their experience, they indicate this. When we teach from empiricism (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empirismo), we always cite the source and sometimes the millennial origin, but still valid today, where a treatment done in a particular way, in a certain context produces a specific result. When we rely on scientific research, we are realistic in that a lot remains to be demonstrated, that everything has a point of relativism (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relativismo), and that the patient-therapist interaction variable is sometimes more important, than the technique itself. The placebo concept (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effecto_placebo) we like, as we are looking for the best result in the treatment with the psyche of the patient. While we study and apply the purest and most effective techniques possible, the patient can receive the synergy of these plus the placebo effect and the good psychological treatment necessary to help achieve the result.

We synthesise the knowledge of several empirical and research sources, where the information overlaps. For example, when several bibliographical sources, or several disciples of the same teacher, explain a diagnostic tool or a treatment methodology we are interested in and what they all agree on and synergize. Together with our experience, which also corroborates the results, it leads us to transmit the synthetic teaching (not yet summarised) of direct application to the patient.

Intensive courses usually offer a practical and direct application seeking a fast and effective result on a disease or patient at the same time.  This stimulates the self-healing vitality with the maximum effectiveness possible. We therefore can omit explanations of why, or different points of view on the applied technique. Individualised student tutoring is also offered post-course and provides what it needed to feel safe when it comes to working.

The courses are offered in all possible modalities: face-to-face, on-line (link to my online example), hybrid(a  combination of the online course and the flipped class), and flipped class (https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePOnn0H9GMY&sns=em). We have been trained in teaching pedagogy to help the student in learning more than just the material that they accumulate. The student must integrate the information, and know how to develop it with their own criteria (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJEbkwoZJ3U&sns=em). The written material is always necessary, but the addition of multimedia and practical material, is what demonstrates our methodology and differentiates us from other schools, putting us in line with the most effective way of learning.
